Since graduating from Stanford University with a BA in English, I have applied my analytical and communication skills to projects that support self-expression.
Whether developing literacy curricula for grade school students, advising young adults on college and graduate school admissions essays, or—as a professional matchmaker—facilitating and supporting romantic relationships, my goal has been to help others authentically express themselves.
The most rewarding part of my matchmaking role was the coaching I did. My clients were open and motivated. I was honest and invested. Together, we addressed blocks, identified strengths, and uncovered important insights that set them up for success in a relationship, whether or not they found a match through me.
Around this time, a colleague invited me to join her in a certification training run by iPEC, one of the top ranked coaching programs worldwide. Almost immediately I knew that I had found my own match: a community of like-minded peers who had a knack for supporting others, instructors who cared deeply about coaching and people’s potential, and a path that would allow me to do what I do best.
My greatest talent, I’ve found, is empowering people to connect—with themselves, with one another, and with the world at large. I’m fascinated by how we, as humans, relate in these ways, and am lucky to partner with clients as they learn and apply new insights to their lives in rich and fulfilling ways.
When I’m not coaching, I enjoy long, often directionless walks, gritty psychological thrillers, and shared hearty meals. I’m also a big animal lover who could imagine myself on a farm in another life.
As a New Yorker residing in the most diverse part of the city, I delight in navigating cultures and relationships of all kinds.
I would love to connect with you!
